As a DT for Gecko Galz, I get to make alot of wonderful projects using the Fabulous digital sheets from their shop.
Here I have created an accordion book using designs from
Botanical Jems
I used a rose paper for the covers and a green striped paper for the inside. You could choose any papers that you like.
The covers are 3.5". They are cut from chipboard.Wrap them like a present, then cut a square slightly smaller, and glue that to cover the corners
Cut a 18" pc of decorative paper, or
cut 12" and a 6" pc, and glue together.
Score and fold every 3"
Fold up like an accordion book.
Glue each ends to the covers
I chose different prints off the 2 botanical pages, cut them out, then glued them to solid brown cardstock. Trim closely around the edges.
Glue these to the inside of your book.
I decorated my book with floral and leaf stickers, as well as some words, to make a story
Once dry, fold back up. You could also add a ribbon. If you choose to do so, glue the ends under the paper you add to the cover.
