I created this Steampunk Belt Buckle
The background design is from this ATC set. I love the Grunginess of it.

I also stained the buckle in alcohol inks, + highlighted the edge in Patina Blue wax
2 metal steampunk gears were added as an embellishment

FLIGHTS OF FANCY
This month's challenge for Gecko Galz
FLORAL BALLOOONS DREAM CANVAS
I used texture paste + cotton to create 3D clouds
the floral balloon digitals are from this sheet

Some of the balloons have a small wooden block under them for a raised effect.
Then i added bits of sparkly vintage jewelry rhinestones for some glitz
I painted the caps, then let dry. Glued the designs into the caps, then adhered a flat back clear marble to the center
I cut the wings from these papers

Using both white + blue markers, I wrote words on them
Finally, I attached magnets to the back

But first I painted the canvas black. Then I stenciled the quote " The Devil Whispered in my Ear" on either side, + rubbed it with waxes to age it
A chipboard Gothic window, with a real light for the glowing candlestick
The Angel image was added. I 3D his wings
Then I used metal cogs + gears, resin wings, + scrolls on the side

The winter quarterly project on the Gecko Galz blog is
ALTERED JEWELRY
I have created a 3 piece Southwestern Necklace and Earrings using these fabulous designs from
I cut the shapes from med chipboard, then glued on the paper designs on both front and back.
The necklace I used coordinating cardstock for the background, then added the matching design.
Leather tassels were added to the bottom of each earring. The earrings also have a silver feather charm
The necklace has a bone feather dangling from the bottom. There is also a silver feather that dangles from the top where the necklace chain is

Edged it in ink, then added an eyelet and ribbon, + put fancy lace on the bottom

I created a pink banner with my wording on it and added it to the bottom, with a tiny pink pearl
SNARKY VALENTINES
Some of us just need a good laugh on Valentines day...You know, us SINGLE girls! hehe
I cut 3 hearts from metallic magenta paper

I connected the image to the heart using a hot pink brad. That way, I can add a message to the other side of the image

I made candy hearts with my snarky quotes
