Gecko Galz Jan 2022 Challenge Pre-Raphaelite Dreams

 

Starting the New Year off with some fabulous new Gecko Galz designs.

Jan is all about Pre-Raphaelite Dreams

First off, I have altered a round wood circle, featuring an open window with a woman, perhaps pondering her love life.

Next, I created a triple shrine featuring designs from the same kit.

I love the stained glass window images with the gorgeous ladies!

A nature inspired design

My 3rd design is 4 altered playing cards

I gessoed these first, then using antique mod podge, I added vintage doilies, snippets from gold paper I created, red Dresden, tiny words, + more

I placed her on a square of red suede.

I added black, filigree die cuts to the top + bottom

Finished off the tag with ribbon cords + ribbon.

SEASONS GREETINGS STEAMPUNK STYLE

Christmas Card

I started with navy blue cardstock I cut + folded into a 5.5" x 8" card

I then cut strips of super glittered silver cardstock, to make edges for the design.

Using my Sizzix diecutter, I made a gear edge, and gear designs using Blue, Brass + Copper glitter cardstock.

I adhered the design to the front of the card, then added 2  small gears over the larger ones. 

All ready to add a verse + pop it in the mail!

This is Halloween-Gravestone Magnets

This month's make as a DT for This is Halloween group on Facebook

is my Gravestone Magnets

I started with Masonite tombstones

Painted them black, then while the paint was still wet, I covered them in crinkled tissue paper. After that was dry, I trimmed the edges.

Using cutouts from my Halloween stash, I added the fun witch + Frankenstein using 3d pop dots.

I then added the wording, as well as the ravens. 

A simple magnet is attached to the black

Arty Divas DT Challenge-Oct- Wicked

 For this months post for Arty Divas, I have created a fun Halloween card

The Devil Woman is from Kenny K designs

I love her sass!!

Red blood drips, a full glittery moon, with a bat

2 red glitter die cut backgrounds holding the 2 verses

I also added a black glitter skull + a matching scroll design

My DT project for Oct This is Halloween challenge

HAPPY HALLOWEEN WITCH TAG

The tag base is cut from black burlap.

I added a layer of cheesecloth.

Tore a strip of a witch ephemera, and edged it with black soot distress ink

The graveyard fence at the bottom is a die cut

A full moon was added as well as black creepy ribbon with a round metal 31 + a silver skull bead.

I created this corner of an old cemetery with a wood base and walls.

An old door to?, decaying tombstones, moss, twigs, old bones, a mossy urn with a skull, and plenty of spider webs!
