FAMILY PLOT + WITCHY WOMEN

I made these using 2 wood boxes I got at Dollarama

I used a black wash on them, then added streaks of white using white wax paste. Finally, a quick splotch of green dye spray.

Dried moss was glued to the roof.

On the back, I used spooky papers, printed on velum.

Moss and dyed cheesecloth glued to floor inside.

Scenes set up inside using chipboard tombstones,paper diecuts + Tim Hotz quote chips

Props are Tim Holtz skulls, pumpkins, brooms, 

A tealight behind the shadowbox casts the eerie glow.

Arty Divas Challenge #28 Sunflower Girl

 

Ive always loved Sunflowers!

The theme for the Arty Divas this week is Just for Fun, so I made this 5" x 7" canvas using a beautiful digis from GECKO GALZ

The canvas was textured, before adding paint and shading

I then added digital cutouts, the sunflowers, and face

A die cut floral trickling down the side

Mini glass beads as highlights + a silk butterfly
