Down the Rabbit Hole Tree Stump Gecko Galz DT July Challenge

Alice falling Down the Rabbit Hole
in a wacky tree stump

This all started with a Pringles Chip can I cut into 3 parts.
I cut the pieces at angles, to give me a slightly wacky look

I taped the can back together, then glued in some potion scrapbook paper inside the can.
cut a bunch of pieces of tinfoil, then scrunched them up + hot glued them to the sides of the can, leaving the opening open.
Took squares of papertowel, coated each one with a mixture of watered down white glue and covered over top. Then using my fingers, I scrunched the wet towels to form my tree texture.
It was messy, but fun!

Sit the tree on a rack with a baking sheet underneath. Set a fan in front. It takes a couple of days to dry.

I painted the tree black, then dry brushed it using browns and greys.
Added the moss, leaving a small hole on the top.

I painted a dowel black, then glued it inside the rabbit hole. Alice was added to the dowel to  make it look like shes falling.

Digital Alice words and images from Gecko Galz were then glued around the tree.

Welcome to Wonderland ATC Coins DT Challenge July

New on the Gecko Galz shop are these fabulous digital ATC coin designs!
They are just as much fun to play with as the ATCs

I made mine using the new Wonderland ATC Set

Printed out and cut out ( not as hard as you think LOL)
Then I glued them onto an empty cereal box and cut out again.

Glued another digi circle to the back

I used images from all of Gecko Galz Wonderland themed digis ( she has LOTS) . Some have 3d foam behind them.

Then I added chipboard accents that I painted.
A sparkly heart here, a metal key there.

The wonderland words are fromAlice in Wonderland Quotes

Coins are great for trading or using as embellishments in your journals!

Arty Divas Challengfe #24 GNOMES

Gnome Birthday Greetings

Who doesnt love the gnomes! I created this whimsical project using the sweet birthday gnomes designed by #Laurie Furnell Ink.

The castle is a huge 8.5" x 11"
The door is wood that I painted and stenciled to look like wood

A tiny metal bob from my stash became a door handle

Ribbons attached to balloons stream from the door.

I cut slits on the upper door and window.
Using the delightful Gnome designs I had pre-colored using Prisma Premier markers, I added one gnome peeking out the door, and an other in the window. Balloons were also added.

On the top, is the large gnome. Colored and 3d to the front

On the bottom on either side of the door, is a gnome pulling his gifts and a cake in his wagon.

Happy Birthday from me and the Gnomes!

The castle is from Raidersofthelostart on Etsy
Gnome designs are from Laurie Furnell Ink
