Steampunk Gear Shrines

Yes, I love me STEAMPUNK!
I made these 2 shrines, using the  Little Niche Gear Shrine from Alpha Stamps
Those wicked images from the Gecko Galz digi sheet
"Dreamland"
worked perfectly with the Steampunk shrines
I adhered them to black burlap, then glued them inside the niche.
Using one of my steampunk stencils, I used my handmade modelling paste to add texture to the gears.
When dry, I painted the whole thing with copper metallic paint, then rubbed on turquoise + fire red wax pastes over the textured areas.
Metal charms + stampings, paper gear die cuts, vintage watch parts, spinning propellers, and vintage metal Monopoly game pieces were then randomly glued to the shrine.
The metals were painted in copper + aged with the wax pastes.
I made a 3D pocket watch using a die cut and glass glaze, then glued it to one of the shrines.
Lastly, I painted and glued the hang up on the back of the box.
