Sept Gecko Galz DT Challenge-Stitched in Time

 

                                                                                 

                                                                Im not a sewing person, but I had fun                                with this months challenge.

                                             

                                                  

       SEWING JOURNAL

                                   I used vintage ribbons, a layered sewed paper                                                    piece, vintage buttons, an old sewing matching charm, + the beautiful GG images from 

DRESSFORM DOMINO NECKLACES

Using images from

I created 2 fun bamboo domino necklaces.

The images were glued on, then i added glass glaze over top

A bail on the back holds the yarn chain. I also added charms that I painted to match.

The edges of the domino are painted in coordinating chalk paint

VINTAGE SEWING GREETING CARD

I used images from

to make this all occasion greeting card

A navy blue card, with a measuring tape background.

I diecut the image on the right side. Made me think of a quilt design.

I edged the 2 images in distress ink, + adhered to the card

The flowers are die cut from vintage dictionary papers + layered.

I then added a button center.
